  • Wow, they really had to manhandle these old crates!

  • Great vid. I'm sure no one agrees with me but I actually prefer the DC-7 to the Connie.

  • i was at the unvieling of this aircraft... so much passion over at OPF

  • WONDERFUL VIDEO & AIRPLANE, THANKS FOR PRESERVING THIS BEAUTY. KEEP IT DOING.

  • Wonderfull stuff, but must be anticlimatic to fly in an aircraft like that and have to eat cellophane wrapped food on foam plates and drink from cans...

  • Wow. What a beautiful bird, and what incredible volunteers to keep her flying.

  • Wonderful, nostalgic. I appreciate the performance of the new jets but prefer the romance and soul of the piston/prop.

  • don't u just love when the song starts at 8:13 and at 8:49 when the.unburnt rich fuel goes came out straight though as flames??? anyway what is the name of the song, please. What a terrific people still keeping this bird alive!

  • A prior comment from go4ride asked about pressurization. Although I am retired EAL I don't know the circumstances about this particular a/c but I do know that many of these older a/c are operated without pressurization because of concerns the pressure differential will cause the structure to fail (explosive decompression). They just fly low, keep the outflow valves open and let the air blow thru.

  • Lucky you! I was also born in the 80s and I fly an airplane older than me lol!!

Awesome plane!! And that's a hell of team work!!
