One of my dreams is to be a ParaRescueman. I have always admired and respected them. My uncle was in CSAR and I was always fascinated by his job and how he risked his life to get others out with theirs.
If I become ( correction, WHEN) I become one will probably be the proudest day of my life. A life where I can possibly save hundreds, or thousands of others is a life well lived for me, no matter the risk .

My son is joining the Air Force and being accepted into Para Rescue is his main goal and objective. 70 percent fail the first boot camp and 90 percent fail along the way. The remaining 10 percent live the saying "That others may live!"

@Nicdaneill I Don't see why not. But before you do anything, take the time to talk with an Air Force recruiter. It is a recruiters job to bring in new recruits. You can also go to their website and ask a recruiter from there.

I'm only 16 and have put some serious thought into military life style. I set my goal in life, becoming a PJ or Combat Control. Hope i can achieve. These men put their lives at risk to save other lives. So much respect to them

Nice video. Some good footage. Just FYI, Pararescue is all one word and should always be capitilized. It was two words back in the late 40's when there were Para doctors, but not anymore. Good luck to you. My advice: Don't quit ... ever.

Right out of HIghschool, But i have some advice. Train TRAIN TRAIN before you sign up. Youre looking at one of the most difficult jobs out there, And god knows we need them but people cant survive the cut.

@WR3STL3 Well as soon as possible is for the best, if your high school has a swim team try joining that, Polo even works.
