Have you experimented with putting the focused beam on the helmet and the flood on the handlebar? Please post a video of that set up so we can see and compare. By the way, good job reviewing these lights.

I'll be getting some low profile helmet mounts for the 808ce so I can change them around. A draw back will be that you can't use the great handle bar mount from the 808ce.
