I don't like Gootube, but if they ban Naruto, they will be doing us a favor. :)

What made You Tube so popular and valuable to start with is the wild west anything goes angle.
Now it's just another relatively tame corporate vehicle. Yes, still a cool outlet for some creativity and yes, better than nothing...but worth 1.65 Bil? LOL
Maybe in 5 years...maybe.

yeah.. I've soured a lot on YouTube lately because of the corporative angle... see my video "YouTube vs THEYtube" you'll see what I mean..

wow! Finally! A smart person!!
Geez... I just can't get over the fact that people out there think Google's just gonna turn YouTube into plain crap.
I liked your video and congrtulations for being open-minded... I'll watch your animations later. I'm bookmarking your profile page, now.
Good video...
Go, Google, go! You'll make YouTube a better place :) (not that it's any bad right now, but... oh well, I'm rambling now, so bye...)

Heheh, thank you! I think you will like my other "editorial" videos, although sadly I've lost a little bit of my optimism lately. You'll see what I mean when you get around to my "YouTube vs TheyTube" video. Thanks so much for the comment! Hope you like my ghost stories too :)

Good point about the future, but did you have permission from RIAA to use "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by "Tears For Fears" (c)1985
Google is very high profile and has lots of CASH. It will be a HUGE taget for MPAA/RIAA to "prove" yet another point for people that borrow samples of their media...
Congrats to YouTube guys for cashing in, but be ready to jump ship!

Hehe, I didnt, but maybe Google will. That is one of my predictions; they'll continue striking deals with major copyright holders so that guys like me can keep using background music. (Btw, even if they didnt, background music is considered "fair use", but thats besides the point) B) I think the ones who will lose are the videos copyrighted to minor players that Google wont go dealmaking after. We shall see! B)
