2 days and u perfect it. U are great. Lol. Many senior Karate teachers still trying to perfect normal chudan tsuki for years and years..

warm up, then shake your limbs. After that, slap yourself all over. Then after that, stand in "yoi" for about 5 minutes, doing nothing but deep breaths. And then after that, do the kata, pretending you are blocking mideval battering rams. I'm too lazy to do it myself so, hope YOU have good luck with it.

@FatesWildCard 2 days and you perfect the jump, by my reconing you will be a master in 7 months 2 weeks, 3 days , 4hours 7minutes and 32 seconds. And with your karate being perfect you can stop practising and go and do something more challenging. OSSU

Please post vids of your mastery over these "easy" katas.
The sequence of moves is one thing. Executing a kata "perfectly", or even the jump, is quite a task, and not something you do in 2 days.

doing this kata for my 1st dan in feb '09. Most styles do kata diffrent. Bassai Dai in shotokan is black belt. With Go-Kan-Ryu it is blue belt. Good luck to all martial artists in their quest for glory(belts,medals,and inner peace).

I Thought The Heian Kata's Were Mostly Easy, The Only Bit Of The Heian's I Got Stuck On Was The Jump In Godan, Took 2 Days To Perfect It...
