@manifestgtr Yeah definitely, Suicmez (that's right) is awesome forgot about him somehow. Technical death metal, the genre specifically, is technical and fast, but it's not for speeds sake (at least most of time); it's actually very progressive, theory driven, and dependent upon good song writing. I can see what you mean when it comes to other sub genres and even some tech bands, as a lot of bands are really shitty and ridiculous.
