How do you find these, you must have a lot of time.

@mykovn I've never found anything interesting in Google Earth by just looking. But, it doesn't take much time if you know the trick. There are web sites where others have already collected their interesting finds in Google Earth. Like gearthhacks or bbs.keyhole. Expand the description under the vid for details on these.

The image at 1:00 is The Bomber restaurant in Milwaukie Oregon. It is a B-17G. Its name was "Lacey Lady" The pilots name was Art Lacey. He bought it as surplus after the war and used it as a gas station cover. Its a restaurant now, and they are taking donations to restore this historic aircraft. You can contact terry@thebomber.co

the random planes in random places I think I can explain. it took a picture from above just as a plane was passing, so the plane is in the air, even though it looks as if its on the ground
