Brad Hamilton (Judge Reinhold) works a series of crappy jobs to pay for his dream car. And, Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn), a stoned surfer, coasts through life, always on the lookout for the next party. Wow man. I was born in 1993 as well, and am watching movies like Dazed and Confused (and Almost Famous - please watch that if you haven't already) while at college. I am so jealous too! Even though I don't believe it was directly like what the movies showed it to be. Who knows. But funny that what you wrote is exactly how I feel now!

@mrincredible26 That's so weird. I was young in the 80's, but always wanted to live in the 60's.
My conclusion: dont be tempted to glamourize the 80's. Yeah, sure, there were some good movies and music. But there were also some really bad things going on. Like the cold war, Thatcher, unemployment and poverty.
