@MeezDre was wondering if u cud help me sort out something-correct me if i'm wrong pls:)..with regards to the respiratory cycle, my understanding is that inspiration:expiration is 1/3: 2/3 respectively yes? whereas with regards to 'vesicular breath sounds' themselves.. they are a soft, low pitched sound where the inspiratory SOUND is longer and louder than the expiratory SOUND- n there's no pause in between (unlike bronchial- much like listening over the trachea)? is this ur understanding too?

The absolute best way to remember how bronchial breathe sounds sound, is to remember how "darth vader" breathes!! Trust me, you'll never forget it now!!

@peisze621
With all due respect, may I correct both of you?
vesicular: inspiration is 2.5 times LONGER than expiratory phase. a 5:2 ratio.
brochial (tubular): louder than vesicular sounds, SHORT INSPIRATORY and LONG EXPIRATORY phase, a 1:2 ratio.
