Personally, this man could read out of a phone book and I'd be riveted to my seat. These clips are from two episodes of Journey to the Unknown spliced together to make the "film" Journey Into Darkness. The scintillating Patrick McGoohan served as host.
Great stuff - was wondering if I'd ever get to see this - his first work in 1968 following his post-Prisoner disappearance act. Of the two stories used here, the best by far is "The New People" (the 2nd one).

Great hosting by McGoohan! The Journey To The Unknown episodes in this TV movie were "Paper Dolls" and "The New People" - note the happy ending tacked on in his closing narration....

@sjbrez Joan Crawford had the honour of hosting 2. That honour should have gone to Patrick McGoohan --- The Greatest Actor Of All Time.' Ice Station Zebra' gives us a fascinating glimpse into an alternative universe in which McGoohan becomes 'A-list' and persues a career of blockbusters. No one else would have had a look in, so he did a magnanimous thing!

I agree totaly that he could read the phone book and I would be mesmorized. Patrick McGoohan was magic as an actor. He should have been knighted, one of the BEST actors ever.
