A look at Seiko Perpetual Calendar Kinetic Sapphire watch SNP003. This beautiful time-piece features a perpetual calendar with leap year adjustment till 2100. The auto-relay technology puts the watch to sleep after 24 hours of inactivity. Just move it a little (a little more at times as you can see in the video) and it wakes up to the correct time!
what if you need to know the time?

@Zuidscherwoude When the watch goes into sleep mode, the date continues to advance, but the minute, hour, and second hands stop. When you give it a shake or two, it automatically advances to the correct time. The date is already correct. Seiko claims the sleep mode is good for up to 4 years!

I have this watch w/ the white dial. It's a nice large watch with a hefty case.

@Zuidscherwoude Because date just keeps rolling.
Only the watch itself is just in standby

How come the date doesn't change to the 21th. You start at 8 and pass the 12 two times and end at about 4. So the date must be changes, but it keep at 20. can you comment?
