Armed robbery video #2, 1000 block of Desire St

The 2 thugs begin by walking past and waiting for a car to pass to turn around and begin the assault. They ask the latino workers if there is any work available, and then go on attack. One of them rips the ladder from underneath and causes the worker to fall to the ground. A gun is pulled, and they force the two workers down the alley, where they are robbed. What you can't see: according to my neighbor who witnessed the tail end of the robbery, they force the two men to lie head first into the giant garbage cans which are arranged horizontally on the ground. Had it not been for my neighbor scaring the thugs off, the workers might well have been murdered.
