My brother’s been fighting out in Afghanistan for the past 3yrs, regularly putting his life on the line for what he believed was an important cause.
However, he’s now told he has to negotiate with, train & befriend the very scumbag Taliban fighters who have been trying to kill him all this time- in the name of ‘peaceful transition’. Sometimes he talks to me worryingly of his comrades defying the “coward politicians” & continuing the fight by themselves. I feel something terrible may happen.
