  • 1/10 awful review, you don't watch many movies do you?

4.5/5 on the acting? please there's a reason Kirk Cameron has one of the most unimpressive filmographies of all time and you don't recognize any of the other actors

  • Thank you for the comment. :)

    Jeffrey.

  • Nice review, but what did you give the gospel presentation? If you missed that, you missed the whole point of the movie.

  • I believe that it represented God's word in a great light, it showed the journey that the characters had to take and the ending shows a relationship between mother and son being repaired. This impressed and still does impress me.

  • I like how the father and Caleb spoke quite openly about things. It impressed me how the father lead him along the path, it was quite obvious at times where it was going with the storyline however the overall presentation of scripture was quite well done and most welcome in my eyes and heart.

  • yeaaaaah kimo your'e soo cool man !!

  • Thank you. :)

  • Totally agree on the gospel presentation - brilliant scene with the cross as Kirk was talking about how his wife repeatedly rejected and disrespected him as his father tied that to Kirk's rejection of God's love.

  • Nice review - I enjoyed it.

And to clarify the wife deal - Kirk, as a Christian, refuses to kiss any other woman in a movie role. The writers wanted a kissing scene at the end. So you were right - they flew Kirk's real wife out, fixed her hair to look like Erin's (his wife in the movie) and they did the kiss in a low-light setting. The first time I saw the movie - I didn't know this part and I wouldn't have figured it out just from watching it.

  • Cool, I liked the part where his dad was telling him about God in the park and leaned up against the cross. Good scene. Nice review also....yeah, the wife went and bought that one the other day, she likes it too. later
