My question is why would a guy who plays football for living really need a gun, can't he just stomp over most people? Why would he go to a nightclub so full of thugs that he felt he had to carry a gun? I mean, is it like a backyard party?... What's up with New York clubs that people are always getting busted with guns?

Um, he didn't misfire his gun. The video said he was carrying a .40 caliber glock which has 3 different internal safeties specially designed to prevent accidental discharges. Every glock has a special trigger safety that needs to be pulled in order for the trigger to operate, and a fumbling of his gun is simply not enough to allow his gun to fire.

well yes, he faces that many yrs but he'll get none. A little community service. Another team will sign him on eventually. People will discuss the pros and cons of gun laws being enforced correctly or all the differing race issues that plague us and lawsuits, firings, people will profit on inflated differing views and the great divide continues with little change .. It isn't hard to misfire a round I did it once and ever since I don't chamber a round unless I know I have an immediate threat. Also I have trained to chamber one handed either hand so if on of my hands happen to be disabled I can operate the weapon. I misfired one shot no one in the neighborhood heard a thing I know I asked and the round went into the ground. Great lesson for anyone with weak law enforcement I was at my home when this incident occured. Cops have chambered rounds they misfire 2.

Because New York has very strict gun laws and he was carrying a concealed weapon.
Now what I don't understand is how a man who kills animals for fun is going to get two years in prison, but a fool who shoots himself will get fifteen.
