I read the book maybe once; now I wont to read it over again; I think I would appreciate it more now!! I love that part with the brushing of the mud off her face; that is SOO romantic!! Its obvious he doesn't care about money; if he did; he wouldn't be a curate.

@sulaka123 I think the hoves of the horse threw mud back. It is adorable. A simple touch is much more appealing than all the sex scenes shown on tv/movies of today don't you think?

I wish it was like this now! People were so much more respectful back then, and the dresses were so beautiful (especially most of Catherine's)! So lady-like and flowing. . .I would love to be a lady back in those days. . .
