Thunderstorm + Hail 1" - 1.5" - May 01 2009

Got off work thismorning to this thunderstorm off to the west of joplin mo... decided to test out my new camera (even though there was no rotation with the storm)... unfortunately i hate this camera and couldnt get it to keep its focus (in the first part of the video). it worked halfway alright in the in car footage but there is noise throughout the whole thing which is fail! and now i have a ton of dents on the car LOL

I will be purchasing a different camera in a month or so when i can afford it.

I did what i could with brightness and contrast to try to get rid of some of the noise :(

you're fighting with the focus of the camera hahahahahahahaha

@bren320 haha yea it was a pain. I only had the camera about 2 weeks prior to this and it was ticking me off so bad as you can tell when i shoot torwards all the white to try to get a sharper contrast so the dang thing would focus. i dont have quite as much trouble with it now but still not the greatest for paying $650

@bren320 oh its not a problem haha! thanks for the comments. criticism dont bother me one bit nor does it offend me in any way as everyones entitled to their own opinion and uploading a video to youtube and making it public is an invitation for anyone to post whatever they feel like posting :).

@pokachunk oh wow thats sucky yesterday we had a pretty good show but for some reason my lightning I recorded @ night is not showing up on the camcorder which im extremely depressed about haha.. I just uploaded a timelapsed video of the storm we got yesterday :)

@drft4life - yeah, this is the only way il get to see awesome clouds like this on youtube because were i live we hardly get thunderstorms and when we do it sounds like thunders too stoned up to even make a little noise... :(
