Car Explosion in Mississauga

A car exploded on fire in a parking lot igniting two other cars. The Mississauga Fire Department then came to the rescue.

The event took place in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada on August 2006. It was an unfortunate incident where a careless individual was carrying a few containers with gasoline in his car's trunk and then he decided to check them out while he was smoking a cigarette. The vapors ignited immediately causing a tremendous explosion and injuring the man. This video starts minutes later after the explosion.

This event was a careless accident and it was not linked to terrorism in any way.

Mississauga has always been rated as one of the safest cities in Canada for several years in a row and it is currently experiencing a booming economy.

NEVER, ABSOLUTELY NE-VER stay close to a burning car. SPECIALLY IN A PARKING LOT! Fuel tanks explosion ARE MASSIVE, and they can ignite the other cars fuel tanks, if you see fire on a car. Keep calm, walk away the further you can, and IMMEDIATTLY CALL FIREMAN!
