See this thread for full details on how I did this:
http://goo.gl/YzZsZ

Basically:
1) Enchant some Alchemy+ Crafting gear at an Enchanting station
- Head, Neck, Arms, Finger can have "Fortify Alchemy" Enchantment added to it. You can either find gear with this enchantment in a shop and Disenchant it or complete the Dark Brotherhood quest "Mourning Never Comes" for a ring that has this.
- Although both considered "head slot" pieces, a character can wear both a Falmer Helmet and any Circlet (buy or smithed) at the same time! So you can enchant both for increased results.
- I also popped an Enchanter's Elixir potion that I got from Arcadia's Cauldron in Whiterun (or potentially available at any other Alchemy shop) to increase the initial results. Each gear piece's base value was +28% at the start. Keep this in mind as you see what the end result became!
2) Create a Fortify Restoration Potion and drink it.
3) Unequip Alchemy+ Crafting Gear, then re-equip it.
4) Repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Each time you create a Fortify Restoration potion, you will see the resulting potion's potency increase exponentially. When you drink it, your crafting gear will increase in its bonus potency exponentially as well. At some point, for whatever reason, the Fortify Restoration potion bonus percentage will suddenly turn to a negative astronomical number. So this is where you stop.

With 5/5 Alchemist and Benefactor Perks in the Alchemy tree, I was able to end up with a Fortify Restoration potion that had +814,025,792% on it. My resulting Alchemy+ Crafting Gear bonuses was +227,927,232% better -- ON EACH PIECE (Falmer Helmet, Circlet, Ring, Necklace, Bracers)!

Now, one thing of great importance to note is that, when your Fortify Restoration potion wears off (it lasts 60 seconds), your gear will show its original values in your inventory. However, if you look at Active Effects, the astronomical numbers are still there! And they will remain so as long as you continue to wear the equipment you had on during this process. Once you change your gear, though, you will lose all these bonuses! So, what to do?

Once you've "topped out" on the above process, brew yourself as many Fortify Enchanting and Fortify Smithing potions as possible! It will help to have the ingredients for these before doing this whole process, obviously, because you can just immediately start brewing them. What this does is make it so you have potions with these astronomical numbers. You can now go back to an Enchanting station and pop one of the suped-up Fortify Enchanting potion, then create gear that has these astronomical numbers PERMANENTLY! So make a TON of these potions so you can cover every kind of possible Enchantment you may want (also remember you get 60 seconds per potion, so you can Enchant several gear pieces within that time). Then, with any Weapons or Gear you create, you'll also have the Fortify Smithing potions for huge numbers as well. In fact, if you do the above process, then Enchant a new gear set with Fortify Smithing enchantments after popping one of the crazy-numbers Fortify Enchanting potions, and THEN wear that stuff while also popping a crazy-numbers Fortify Smithing potion on top of it all... well, I haven't done that yet, but I plan to just to see what happens in the result!

For what it's worth, doing the above to boost my initial Crafting gear, I then immediately created Fortify Enchanting and Fortify Smithing potions with the following results:

Fortify Smithing Potion
+ 683,781,760% better
Value: 2,147,483,647 gold

Fortify Enchanting Potion
+ 170,945,440% stronger
Value: 2,147,483,647 gold

So, to sum up:
1) Enchant some Alchemy+ crafting gear.
2) Equip it and create a Fortify Enchanting potion.
3) Drink potion and un-equip gear.
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the Fortify Restoration potion bonus value hits a negative. Obviously don't use THIS potion.
5) Immediately proceed to create as many Fortify Smithing/Fortify Enchanting potions as you like
6) Now you can use these to enchant permanent astronomical numbers for any Enchantment, as well as improve weapons and gear to astronomical values as well.

  • The sad thing is, i actually read that novel in the description

  • No Life Much??

  • regeneration ring = the One Ring

  • Breaking Skyrim 2: Skyrim Harder.

  • @regomn it's not technically cheating, using the console is cheating :P

  • @regomn You can do this on consoles as well as PC. Of course, why cater to console peasants?

So instead let's approach this from the perspective of someone who's been playing at least since Morrowind. How do you reconcile the canonical, accepted and "enforced" (insomuch as "the player can do what he wants because he is a self-conscious god" can be "enforced") concept of CHIM with some childish idea that cheating in a singleplayer game is wrong? You do it because it's fun and games are for fun.

  • @regomn Its not cheating if the game allows you to do it. So he discovered something using simple mathematics. Thats no reason for you to be upset because you didnt discover it. Stop hating.

  • @regomn nigger its just a game ffs umadbro?

  • I Like nerd arguments:D

  • how do you take an enchantment off of something?
