Illegal immigration is hurting our country and it must be stopped and now they are planning a north american union, which will make the situation of immigration worse.

The term "anchor baby" means illegal immigrants who come to the U.S and have children here. Suddenly they are citizens while their parents are not; which makes it less likely to get them to leave. Now they get all the benefits of american citizens because they broke the law and are scamming the government. Oh, and for those crying out "RACISM AGAINST HISPANICS!" i really doubt we have a flood of illegals coming from Canada.

Why does the govt allow this? Both parties could agree to take away habeas corpus, but not to safeguard who we allow as citizens? We need an army on the southern border to stop these invaders and put in jail people who employ illegals. Don't be fooled by the 'oh, we can't get regular Americans.' Illegals were scabs imported to break the fieldworkers union. The minute we legalized some, the landowners quit hiring those--they only want people who can't unionize. Legals can't compete now.

Why do people complain about Mexicans taking their jobs? If an illegal immigrant has taken your job, you're probably really, really stupid.

Why should we have to accommodate others who don't belong in this nation. Should we choose to learn a new language, that should be up to us - not forced upon us by others who are not even legal. You're apparently intelligent & can see why so many ppl are upset over this issue. The myth about the illegals not doing jobs Americans want is just that - a myth. When illegals are flushed out of companies - Americans show up the next day, if not the same, to apply for the jobs.

i used to work at a insulation company, when they started hiring illegals they lowered our wages and get rid of our health insurance, as more and more of the legal workers left more illegals came, before you knew it none of my fellow workers could speak english, would you want to work with people who cant speak the same lang as you
