  • Tombstone

"When I was in the military, they gave me a medal for killing two men, and a discharge for loving one"

----Tombstone of Sgt. Leonard Matlovich (War Veteran)

  • I don't wish death on anyone... well, almost anyone... but I do hope that it won't take his demise to end John McCain's political douchebaggery.

  • With a soldier that queer

    It should be clear

    In a fire fight

    You can't protect the front

    And protect the rear

    What're you doing

    Don't do that here

  • The Good, The Bad, and the UGLY on the repeal of DADT:

Good: The military will make effeminate gay men more masculine, which is a good thing. Hate crimes would plummet if gay men acted more Rock Hudson then Perez Hilton.

Bad: ironic that it was repealed by a bunch of libs who hate the military and wouldn't serve in a million years no matter if we had ten 9/1l attacks.

Ugly: people wanting to serve in the military but on their terms, not the military's. Whats next? doctors notes?

  • John McCain is the biggest sissy in the U.S. Senate

“Don’t be scared, John. Man up. If a gay man is braver, stronger, or better than you, that doesn’t mean you’re a sissy. Being afraid to let him show his mettle – to compete equally with you for the label of hero – is what makes you a pansy.” Jimmy Zuma

  • @eddyskees Actually she says it once. She quotes the Admiral and others when they say it. But the point is really this: Legal experts admit the justice department is under no legal obligation to contest Phillips' ruling. Unfortunately, the cojone-less brigade prefer to liberalese and blather about who said what and continue to make faux excuses for the poseur they put in the WH. Maddow example par excelance! Until we all grow a pair of ovaries or gonads we will continue on the back burner.

  • @click212 She said on several occasions in this clip that "this is my opinion". Also, Presidents' Justice Departments always defend current law. Always. If Obama had not defended DADT, he would have done so in opposition to centuries of tradition. In our adversarial court system, the Justice Department's role is to defend current law. That's how it is done.

So before you spout off, you should get your facts straight.

BTW - I am a proud gay man and also think DADT should be repealed.

  • All I want is that Ms. Maddow take a long slow breath. Then she should mention before she opens her mouth that whatever follows is her personal opinion. Now outside of the rabid liberal media. I not only think that abolition of DADT is over due, how about Equal marriage act. I just love the way the faux left likes to diddle in issues only when they think it is safe to do. Where was Ms. Maddow when our "Dear Leader" who countered the fed judge who said DADT was unconstitutional?

  • @08Shards Unfortunately, Mccain comes from a long lived family. He will probably still be around causing trouble for another 20 years, Let's hope we can side line him for the DADT repeal.

  • We could care less what near dead McCain says. This is about the US military of the 21st Century.
