got this knife, full of blade play, feels weak plastic, assist opening is useless ( the benchmade axis lock is way better) ... used it once.. will never get a sog again, just my 2 personnal cents .. there are way better knives out there for the same price..

At the end of you video you say the knife has an Arc Lock. Not sure if back when you purchased it Aegis was made with an Arc Lock, as far as I can tell Arc locks. Again maybe 3 years ago they did but I don't think that accurate. Their CS reps on the phone say it's not an arc lock

@1dducks The AEGIS doesn't have a Arc Lock. I called SOG and they CS rep said it's a different kind of lock. Arc has a specific rating, not sure what the lock on the Aegis has. Check the Sog site. The Aegis is not listed in the Arc Lock section

I believe that SOG actually stands for Special Operations Group, and was redesignated as Studies and Observations Group to cover for their actual purpose in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia which was Special/ Unconventional Operations. Great Review though.
