  • Some of the parts may have been discontinued that were used in the vintage model. The thing to remember is that when re issuing a pedal they really never sound like the original. while they come close there is always a subtle difference between the 2. This is why the vintage stuff has the allure it does.

  • They sound different because the original one has aged, you can't effienctly compare the 2. Aging changes the parts inside of the pedal, use and abuse too.

    You must take the age of the original WH-10 into account when comparing the pedals... Why does everyone forget about this

  • Vintage has more treble. V2 has more bass.

  • @vizcacha5 Because some parts might not be in production anymore (pots, capacitors..)

  • the original is made in japan not in fucking china....does this original boost the volume of your amp? I know mine did (the reissue)

  • @popomczowzow yep this happened to me also in the shop i tried it in, but i just couldnt help buy buy it :P by the way im on my third wh10v2 first 2 broke. but now ibanez remade the switch on the latest batch! :D its great now!
