Yeah, I know. Neil Young played it in double drop C tuning. I hate to do that because retuning my guitar all the time just breaks strings. Even in C, I can't sing it in the higher octave that he does. I prefer to play it in standard tuning in the key of D. I could even capo it up a few frets, but I like the sound of an acoustic guitar played with as many open chords as possible. Anyway, it's a great song and I love to play it.

  • That guitar sounds amazing! Great playing. What guitar is it?

  • @SleepyBridgeTroll Thank you! The guitar is a 1978 Alvarez Yairi DY85. Yairi guitars are very fine guitars and not that well known.

  • @azcharlie2009 Yeah, ive never heard of them. Ill have to check them out and maybe get one!

  • @SleepyBridgeTroll Check out the Yahoo Group, Yairi Guitars. There is a lot of useful information about Yairi guitars and sometimes ones for sale. There are some good ones that pop up on ebay every now and then, but be careful. I have three Yairis. One I bought way back when I was in my 20's and I love them all. I also have a Martin HD28 and I like the Yairis just as well. Good hunting.....

  • THANK YOU. I hate re-tuning my guitar for one or two songs. This does it for me.

  • @ShelsleySpecial Thank you. I too have gotten tired of retuning and strings breaking. This was a simple way to avoid that.
