Great technique there! It's rather hard to teach someone how to use a mouth/diaphragm call, but this is probably the best way to do so.

There are so many diaphragm calls out there. There are double reeds, triple and 3 and a half reeds. How do I decide? What is the best sounding diaphragm call?

@lthome5 Unfortunately there is no such thing ... everyone's mouth is different, everyone runs a call different, and every call is different. You just need to get good at running a clean call ... then move on to the others and see what works best. Best of luck to you.

is there a difference between a regular diaphragm call and a hen diaphragm call or are they the same thing?
ZamaSoldier 9 months ago
@ZamaSoldier almost all mouth calls are made to sound like a hen turkey. Although there are a couple on the market designed to sound like a gobbler, chances of finding one are slim. Good luck this spring.
