Vegan Chocolate Cake Recipe with Buttercream Frosting and Strawberries

I was inspired to make this vegan chocolate cake from a video done by hilahcooking. It is so moist and delicious. It is my go to cake recipe.

Vegan Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup Flour
1 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Water
1/4 cup Oil
1/4 cup Almond Milk
1/4 cup Applesauce
1 tbsp Vinegar
2 tsp Vanilla extract

Directions on how to make vegan chocolate cake:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
Wisk cocoa powder and dry ingredients
Mix wet ingredients
Mix wet and dry ingredients
Pour into an 8x8 baking dish lined with parchment paper
Bake for 35 minutes

When the vegan chocolate cake is completely cooled ( about 2 hours), frost with buttercream, top with strawberries, and serve. I hope you me video on how to make vegan chocolate cake was helpful. Enjoy.

I used this recipe and the first time it was too moist so the second time I made it with half the amount of applesauce...much much better ;)
