In his Painting Textures in Colored Pencil video workshop from www.artistsnetwork.tv, artist Gary Greene shows you how to use two completely different approaches to painting lifelike textures with colored pencil-- layering circular strokes on a smooth paper to paint glass bottles; and underpainting and layering linear strokes on cold-pressed watercolor paper to paint a donkey. Youll love the depth, detail and intensity you can achieve with these techniques. In this preview he begins adding fur texture to the donkey's face on top of an underpainted area.

  • Oh my God! So much patience!

  • I was into the video right until you said parisma colors, not that it's a bad thing I just wish I myself had some. Great work anyways :)

  • Dude, your audio is all out of wack. Music is too loud, and your voice is muffled.
