It was funny because my people were talking in front of the fireplace and all of a sudden they were on fire. My guy ran to the shower and then the firefighter extinguished my lady. She was black and charred.

i think mine is way more tragic my sim's husband is a firefighter and my sim just died by fire the tragic part is that the fireman did nothing i had him go home for lunch and he got there a bit too late to save his wife

My sim just died because I stupidly messed around with her hunger mood... she was an only sim... it took me back to the neighbourhood and I didnt save it and just quit... will she come back when i go on again? :(

i dont think so... i belive the program saves in the background when a sim dies, but u should go back and check... the sim might still be ok.

I'm so confused--I've tried so many times to start fires, but I haven't been able to (intentionally)! I make someone cook something in the oven, and when they put it into the oven, I make them stop and do something else. But nothing happens. No fire, no smoke, no anything. WTF? How do you do it? Is there something else I have to do? Do they have to stop cooking at a certain time? WHAT???

get your sims into the house and quickly go to build mode, then delete the doors. if u notice, i put as many stoves as possible.

I'm not sure either... i think he managed to live long enough because when the grim reaper came and the fire went out he was still alive. i guess the grim reaper saved his life...
