I have it on vinyl as well, John Peel got me hooked on it by constantly playing it on his show. It was his favourite album. Unfortunately when I uploaded it I didn't have my USB turntable back then, so this is from an (unremastered !) CD. The sound quality is pretty good anyway, and I don't want to lose 38,000 "views" by re-uploading it !

Of coures it is ! But lyrics and songs don't alway mix very well. And I dont' mean this song.
Try "Under The Floorboards" by "Magazine". How the heck Howard Devoto managed to mix that music with those lyrics is a mystery...after 30 years.

this IS the best LIVE performance I have ever heard.....I am now 48 years old and Ii have NEVER heard a better live band in my life...I had a new toy..Sony Walkman..Circa 1980 (nobody else had one) I used to walk (or FLOAT) for MILES ..listening to this album .. I will listen to this to the day I die ..THE MOST INSPERATIONAL LIVE MUSIC EVER MADE..LOVE U MISTY..ROOTS CONTROLLER!!!

@reglinda
I bought a Walkman in 1981. 4 x AA batteries it took, and it ate them in about 2 hours.
I saw Misty In Roots in Aberdeen in 1982. They had ditched the brilliant organ for a brass section. It was still a great gig though. Despite some other good music, nothing beats "Live At The Counter Eurovision 79" ! John Peel's favourite album, and it was him who got me so hooked I just had to buy it. I've still got it on vinyl, but didn't have a USB turntable when I uploaded this clip from CD.
