Guess what, when the people running the meth lab get out of jail, they're going to get more meth and more guns. The drug war is one of the major reasons the murder rate is so high in my opinion. You seem to think if all laws were banned, that every one would start killing each other, how many people do you actually think are re framing from killing some one just because of the law right now? Laws in my opinion are set to punish behavior, not stop it, so no banning all laws is not a right answer.

Gun criminals like our lax gun laws. Law enforcement is what gets the criminals and their guns. Background checks would make it harder for them to get the guns. Control keeps them from the street, cops take them off the street.

Criminals want easy access to guns. Gun control slows guns flow to the street, while law enforcement takes off the street. For example, you may be able to easily get a gun to defend your meth lab, but raiding cops can take 'em away.
