Honda's new CEO says the CR-Z hybrid concept is coming to dealerships. GM's Bob Lutz says the Pontiac G8 will survive the corporate shakeout as a Chevrolet, an Australian Formula One driver brings home a win and the next big-ticket electric car could be from Mercedes. Hosted by Derek DeAngelis.

  • G8 a Caprice in the middle east????

I'm sorry FLD the G8 is called a Lumina there!

  • You're right narror. While they're both built on the same chassis architecture, the Caprice is a longer-wheelbase car. The Lumina, G8 and Holden Commodore are all basically the same model. It's not clear whether Bob Lutz meant the larger Caprice would come to the US, or if the current G8 would be rebadged as a Caprice in the US. We tend to think it's the latter.

  • I believe it stands for Integrated Motor Assist. It's Hybrid technology.

  • yeah it doesnt look like the G8 is gonna be used for anything but i personally dont beleive in global warming at least in what most people talk about it being

  • gm is shittt the japs own technology

  • a gto is a aussie holden monaro

  • lmao

  • it was an American biased survey, then why did a German and Japanese manufacturer get better results than Cadillac?

nice fat insults by the way. its like you actually think that they bother me for some reason.

  • that was done in america you fat fuck

you missed a bit shaving btw

right on your 3rd or 4th chin.....

    sorry, i couldn't tell....

  • Just drove my first Hybrid yesterday. I currently own a 2005 Corolla that gets 35 mpg. I bet that if we put my Corolla engine into this Hybrid body it would get 45 mpg and perform like a racecar. If we use an equally performing smaller gas engine into it, I bet we'd get 60mpg or better. So why are we buying 50mpg Hybrids? It's a complex machine that will have very costly maintenance; also consider the problem of improperly disposed of batteries. GE will make a lot of money with this sham.
