Im reading dis book called The Bomb it talks about a village dat lives n the Bikini Atoll (where the atomic bombs drop) had to move out of thr home land because the US military wants 2 test the Bomb. A 17 year old named Sorry sailed a Canoe so the bomb wont drop but they ddnt see him n de bomb dropef anywas n he died DAT WAS A VERY GOOD BOOK I WANT U GUYS TO READ IT!! its called The Bomb by Theodore Taylor.

I'm a native from the Marshall Islands I know this island very well. This used to be a very beautiful island paradise. Now that it's unoccupied due to radiation poison which is still believed by scientist that it will take years to clear it out from plants, life-stock even the abundant fish in the lagoon. So sad, these beautiful islands will never be the same, and the people owned the Bikini atoll will never ever get to take advantage of this island paradise....so so sad!
