Suicides aka basketball lines are a high intensity interval training drill to condition elite basketball players

  • @TSuperChallenge okay so chris if i do this everyday for a month how many pounds do you think i would lose by the way im 13 yrs old i weigh about 130 im about 5/4 feet tall and i have a very high metabolism i just dont know the right workouts thankyou and please reply as soon as possible

  • @ewanstanley I mean start each every 80 seconds rather than 90

  • On an Australian rules football field, the four goal posts are 21 feet apart, so they can be used for suicides, lengths thus 0', 21', 42', 63', 84' (210' total); compared to basketball lines which are 0', 19', 47', 75' 94' (235' total).

    Should be done in 80 seconds, unless you think running on the grass is slower than on the court

    (210 / 235) * 90 = 80.42

    Can touch the grass next to the post, or run around the post.

  • I actually do suicides daily and on the football field, i turn every ten yards, so i'll go 10, 20, 30, all the way to the other end zone, and then back! hahaha i've also got variations that i do, suicides are a fantastic way to cover lots of distance in a small area. I'm glad you did a video on them!

    They are a huge motivation for me and maybe for others too.
