  • Love how everyone forgets it's also one of the best handling FWD cars on the market and it's naturally aspirated. 100 hp per liter? That's pretty fucking good. Winding it out to 8 grand? Yes, please. Why does no one ever care if a car is fun to drive anymore? The Civic Si is a fun car to drive. Fast is a relative term. It's not the fastest but it's faster than plenty of cars on the road.

  • @chpenney26 You do realize the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for the '06+ Civic Si are damn near identical to the 91-06 GTP. Maybe you need to do a bit of research before you run your mouth.

  • @averagejoeusername the S2000 is very good, but not widely held as best lol. the Cobalt SS is 2 sec faster than the S2000 CR (no a/c or stereo) on VIR. mazda ms3 (more hp and torque than the Cobalt SS) is 3 seconds SLOWER on VIR. can't just throw a turbo on a car and make it fast, especially fwd. the Cobalt does have a worse interior than the S2000 but costs a lot less, gets much better fuel economy, more practical and won't have to rev the engine past 3,000 just to cruise at 60 mph.

  • @crysis860 Synthetic is how I'm getting up to 40MPG in my rsx-s!

  • @crysis860 Damn dude you gotta roll with synthetic oil! (I never use high mileage oil) . Synthetic pays for itself in gas mileage and cleans the hell outta your engine (no sludge). Love you honda please get synthetic. Walmart has 5 qt of mobil one for like 25 bux.

  • @averagejoeusername serious miles. ive never considered synthetic or high mileage oil for my car. my theory is its been working right so far, dont change it

  • @crysis860 180,000 miles on the RSX-s. Wifey has 270,000 miles on her CRV. Both run like brand new. Running synthetic for the motor oil probably doesnt hurt though lol.

  • GM cars like Chevy Cobalts, pontiac pursuits are piece of shit and no wonder why GM is bad quality. The only american cars i would touch are caddys and lincolns.

This video does sound like a B series

  • @averagejoeusername i think the same way of the cobalt. THE ugliest car. uglier than a smart and beetle. but yea honda reliabilty FTW. 2004 civic with 185,000 trouble free miles.

  • @TheAmericanAutos Comparing a Cobalt, GMs ugliest, crappiest car to an S2000, widely held as the best handling production car ever made? That's rich. My RSX-S gets 40mpg and wont explode in 60k miles like a shitty cobalt. A cobalt. Oh god. Car and driver 2009 cobalt ss review "Constructed of plastics cheap enough to be rejected from a chinese toy factory". Anybody can throw a turbo on a car and make it fast. Can it make it past 100k or 200K or 300k miles like a HONDA? NOT!
