Sara Thiel has gained a lot from being a Special Olympics Orange County athlete but little does she know she has made an even bigger difference in the lives of the people who have worked with her.
Sara was honored with the 2011 Betty Belden Palmer Award for Outstanding Athlete at Special Olympics on Parade.
