  • I think the Celts and the Irish got around a bit and it's in a lot of peoples DNA. So when you hear this it's just your DNA letting you know where you originally sprang from. Buried deep in you. It's your ancestors calling. Isn't that just a nice thought?

  • its weird. im 90% irish and ive never been there but i feel like i belong there. know what i mean.

  • @redSG whole Europe its mixed up and the celts was all over in old wold, you can find today ppl in serbia with celtic roots, southern germany, swiss and austria too. Maybe the celtic blood is strong and thats why so many ppl love thise music. I belive in it because i feel so.

  • I am from the Irish Collins family we have a crest on the island with ancestors living an dead an i am proud of my heritage an our music . Long live the Irish!!!!!!!!!1

You know the English are descended from the Britons, the ancient Celtic people of pre-England Britain. When the Germans came to Britain, they interbred with the indigenous people, the Britons, which resulted in the Anglo-Saxon English. The only true Britons left would probably be the Welsh people. Then you have the Irish Celts, which are still pretty pure. The Scottish are descended from the indigenous Celts who mixed with the Scandinavians.

  • @acechadwick and it is a nice thought that its my ancestors calling, actually got a tingle up the spine when i read that lol

  • @acechadwick couldnt agree more with that, Im English born and bred but ive always had this feeling that if i trace my family (Downes's) back far enough theres going to be Irish/celts somewhere in there, I have a relative whose scottish, and another whos an O'Grady, obviously Irish, but hes english, the only none English one in my immediate family was my gran who was Polish, so no direct Irish, but everytime i hear music like this or see related imagery i somehow feel a connection.

  • @markendall007 i am a Chinese by race... but i am in love of celtic music... greetings from south east asia....
