@jacarradicefrench I still say listen to the Prince of Denmark's March, also know as Trumpet Voluntary, and you will hear that this is different from the Clarke composition. They create a similar mood with a similar style but, they are not the same at all. I am unaware that this was stolen, but I do know that this piece, which is at least attributed to Purcell, and the Prince of Denmark's March, by Clarke, are not the same. Compare the two on You Tube.

@David50s Purcell apparently stole some of Clarke's works.

@jacarradicefrench Jeremiah Clarke did the similar sounding Trumpet Voluntary (Prince od Denmark March). This piece, The Trumpet Tune is indeed Purcell. Compare the two on YouTube and you will hear the difference.

@jacarradicefrench I thought it was justin's beaver. I'm so out of touch. Any baroque march will do for a temporary marriage contract. good stuff!.

Thank you so much! I have to play this piece as a trumpet solo. This really helped me visualise how I need to play it! :)

Oh poor you! That's utterly awful. I hope you meet someone more deserving.
