I've applied a Hum 60 filter alongside a Notch filter at 4000Hz, which makes a big improvement I think; not as good as the filtered Zigeunerweisen, but then this recording wasn't so clean in the first place, so we can't help it - I've done my best and I hope you enjoy it!

I think it depends on which company does it. Some, for instance, play the recordings on the traditional machines and record it with an external recorder. Some digitise it on the computer, then apply filters. Some try to keep it as original as possible, with it still being audible.
