Ha, ha, ha....I´m spanish and every year we receive 50-60 million tourist people speaking all the European languages plus Chinese, Japanese, etc.! One good thing for us it´s that at least we can understand all the people coming from Center or South América! If you visit the Alhambra Palace in Granada you could think that you are in the U.N. building, New York!
Best regards from Spain!
P.D. All of you have wonderful countries!

Yes, but I don't necessarily mind when they are here for holiday. But it's ridiculous to see many foreigners settle here and not even bother to speak the language on our streets. I can't set foot outside without hearing an Arabic language in my part of town. I almost feel foreign myself.

@fr4nk45 In the second sentence i meant English German Spanish ;)

@megalodonNL I totally agree, I think it's time that in every (western) country people learned multiple languages. Especially English Dutch Spanish etc. In Holland it is very common to be like us and speak Dutch English German and French. Sometimes it's very annoying when there are foreigners in Holland and they expect the Dutch people to speak in their language.

I'm glad I'm Dutch, 'cause it's easy to learn either German or English. Dutch is like German and since we don't overdub movies & games with our own language (like other EU countries seem to do) we're OK with English too, 'cause we hear it every single day in movies, internet, music, games, school, work, etc.. Except old people I guess.
I also use an English Windows. And when Germans or Americans come to Holland, we speak in their language :)

English is a Germanic language. "Not one word!" is a bit of an exaggeration, I think. haha. ;)
