I visited Guinea for 24 days in May 2005 and I'm pretty sure I took a tour with this same guide. If I remember correctly, he speaks English because he's originally from Sierra Leone. His wife cooked for us and we slept in a traditional hut w. a small entrance we had to duck to walk into. The hike was one of the highlights of my trip to Guinea - but it was tough to find transport out on a Sunday. (I ended up going to Telimele in the back of a truck delivering gas.) Guinea is beautiful!

Just got back from hiking with Hassan a couple weeks ago. He's still doing great. Thanks for putting together and sharing the video, it will keep bringing back the memories for me and give my friends an idea of what I saw and what Hassan is like. Good times.
