Three questions
What gauge for the wires?
Can you do this with a wired controller?
Does the PCB have to be a certain type? I keep hearing J type
Excellent tutorial BTW

I have not done this in a while, but how woudl I go about finding a closed curcuit. Is this another way of saying ground, or is it a totaly and completely different topic? :).
I know where all the other parts are located, because I am modding a ps2 controller soon.
Thanks in advance.

I made my own stick, and had a problem with the LT and RT buttons. I figured out that those 2 buttons had to be on Normally Closed (NC) instead of Normally open (NO)
So basically just solder the ground and NC on the Cherry switch for those 2 buttons.

Hey DSE Nice tutorial without it i couldnt do anything. ive been so far that i now can test thue buttons and everything works fine, except the lt and rt buttons. The parts for the lt and rt buttons are still on the board and i wired directly to it without a 10k resistor.Any ideas on how to fix it???
