  • and giggsy won it!! so happy!!!

  • @J4K31 You don't know what's true in the stories sold for big money or the circumstances. Giggs didn't try to sue the media or twitter users generally, only the twitter site organisers and the person(s) who breached the court injunction. It was misrepresented, as the gutter press wanted to turn him into public enemy #1 for trying to block their sleazy money-making milking of scandals. It's for his wife to know if he's as disgraceful as you say. I'm sure she knows his good points better than you.

  • @beanzyred The Golden Foot also has to take into account a 'player's personality'. This may not be an overriding factor but I just don't think a person like that deserves to win anything...

  • @J4K31 Quote "Im not trying to dampen his football achievements etc etc"

The Golden Boot IS part of his football achievements, a small part but still!, not wanting him to get the award isn't just 'dampening' them, it's pissing on them. Still the voters voted on his football not his private life.

Back to your quote - "he never denied it", he certainly didn't admit anything either!, lets just agree to disagree, that way one of us can be pleased with the award and you can remain bitter.

  • @beanzyred He never denied it... In-fact he filed a super-injunction to keep them quiet

I'm not trying to dampen his footballing achievements, don't get me wrong. I just think he's a cunt who doesn't deserve the joy that comes with being rewarded with this trophy

  • @J4K31

We can never know what happens in another persons private life, if you want to believe the British it's your right, I prefer to stick to the facts.

The Golden Boot award was for Giggs football success over nearly 900 games for a single club - an incredible achievement and a matter of record, not speculation or cash induced 'testimony' from a known whore*

    *Also a matter of record.

  • @J4K31 I'm not saying you buy the gutter press but you're just still one of the judgmental lynch mob going out of your way to target someone who's already had his share of trashing, whereas his good points are overlooked in the one-sided character assassination, which has been riddled with inconsistencies and put about by people milking scandal for big bucks. What i'm saying is he doesn't deserve the amazing level of vitriol. You think otherwise, so we'll have to agree to disagree.

  • @mizofan I don't think you realise it, but you're sticking up for a cunt.

Does that make you a cunt? I'd like to think not, but you're acting like one

  • @mizofan Either you have the memory of a goldfish, or you're just taking the piss. I've already told you I'm not a reader of the Sun or any other gossip-filled newspaper. I read about Giggs' affairs on BBC's website. There's also no point losing your top over Murdoch, either. He's a cunt, and is being backed by the Government anyway so it's not like he'll be going anywhere soon.

We hear as much about wars, the credit crunch, budget cuts and LEDCs just as much as celebrity affairs.

  • @J4K31 So the media controversy has blown over? With Giggs the villain again on the front page of the Sun 2 days running? What a sick vendetta Murdoch's slimy press have going- and to think they reward women with big payouts for having this supposedly despicable sex with celebs. Pure hypocrisy! They and their readers love nothing more than sex scandals- juicy gossip and inciting lynch mobs (including you) more important than starving millions, wars, the credit crunch, hospitals closing. Shame!

  • @mizofan I meant the media controversy has blown over. That doesn't mean his reputation suddenly disappears

I'm not one to point out people's faults usually, everyone has them. But when you're the role model for a whole generation of kids, doing something like this is atrocious

  • @J4K31 If it's blown over, what are you doing here calling him a cunt for? It's not about whether i approve of affairs or not, more that Giggs doesn't deserve the level of hatred and weeks as public enemy #1. It's a matter for his wife and family. Press intrusion affecting his children and rewarding kiss n tell was shameful. Many tabloid stories about him were lies and contradictions. There are too many who see fault in others, without looking at their own bigotry, selfishness and other faults.
