I agree with the ace and tar21 but not the AK-47 it's a very good gun not lying but is a gum used almost worldwide and is very cheap to make so I would stick to the M4 or M16 if we had to choose the AK-47

Lighter, easier to take apart and clean, more user friendly for lefties, convertible basically from a sub machine gun to a sniper rifle - in a sense - with the barrel and round choices. Plus with the full tactical rail there's no limit to the attachments... The only thing I can see wrong with it is the price, I'm sure it's not going to cheap enough to make it standard issue.

@636675guy guns have to through a rigorous series of operational tests to even be considered for selection. currently, the ACR and SCAR-H are going through those processes. The M16 and possibly the M4 will likely be replaced around 2014
