@twinstu50 What a beautiful story! I too served in the Army but I wasn't as successful as you in love! God bless.

If you were born in that time you'd be in your mid to late 60's like me. Be thankful this music is here for all ages to enjoy. Times were as confusing and messed up to us as they are to you now.

1970, I was a fool kid of 19, in the Army barely a year. I went on a blind date, she was 18, a nurse, so incredibly beautiful, a vision, (still is). Still Married,we have two Sons. They serve our Country, as we both did.
Now, our Grandchildren are fabulous, they are far from being angels, they're terribly naughty, so wonderful, they're just - Kids.
We, old farts, so smile for you, so love you.
You beautiful, Kids.
We were us.
Now, You, are you.
LOVE.

Janet Vogal, who sang all the Incrediable Harmonies & at the
end of ths song, hit that "two octive" note range,
Tock Her life. RIP Janet

@beatletemps Yeah... brings back memories for many of us... malt shops after school... juke boxes to feed dimes... great singers and groups. You're so right... where DID all the talent go? It's just not the same anymore.
