@beatletemps ...The sad thing is you are stuck with this generation of music unless you come here or search online for the heart wrenching music we're talking about. I am 68 and was right in the middle of my teen years while all these great sounds were going on. Making out and falling in love in the 57 Chevys and other great early cars of our time. If I had one wish before I died it would be to re-live my life again just as it happened without any changes. I was blessed with the great days.

In my journey in life, I have been many places some not so pleasant. But listening to these jams makes the past seem beautiful. Care free and alive!!

This is disgusting. Now when I use this term I'm using it in context of modern lingo meaning its amazing although I think even that word is an understatement. I too wish I was born in a different era where ppl actually cared for one another and music had meaning.

@beatletemps I think a lot of the artists today are still very talented, i just think they make awful music with no meaning. :P

@beatletemps I do that everyday of my life, with every single decade.

@twinstu50 What a beautiful story! I too served in the Army but I wasn't as successful as you in love! God bless.

If you were born in that time you'd be in your mid to late 60's like me. Be thankful this music is here for all ages to enjoy. Times were as confusing and messed up to us as they are to you now.

1970, I was a fool kid of 19, in the Army barely a year. I went on a blind date, she was 18, a nurse, so incredibly beautiful, a vision, (still is). Still Married,we have two Sons. They serve our Country, as we both did.
Now, our Grandchildren are fabulous, they are far from being angels, they're terribly naughty, so wonderful, they're just - Kids.
We, old farts, so smile for you, so love you.
You beautiful, Kids.
We were us.
Now, You, are you.
LOVE.
