Max and Ira Stone (Woodstock69) perform at retrofest16

On June 19, 2008, Max and Ira Stone, who had played Woodstock with Bert Sommer on the first day of Woodstock, performed at the RETROFEST 16 Benefit Show at THE TRIAD, 158 West 72nd Street, NYC, NY. Their set consisted mainly of songs performed with Bert Sommer at the original Woodstock Festival.

Retro69 and an ASCAP House Band hosted a Monterey Pop 1967 tribute concert to benefit Save One Person. Save The World Ira and Maxine Stone, who recorded and performed with Bert Sommer on the first day of Woodstock 1969, will be headlining the event around 8PM. Although the majority of the show will feature songs from the 1967 Monterey International Pop Festival, Ira and Maxine Stone will be playing a selection of songs they performed together with Bert Sommer at Woodstock.
