This drill is the best possible way to develop true core rotation in freestyle swimming. It easily fits into the TI progression right after 'Fish'/'Core Rotation' Drills. There is an assumption that you will already have great posture, alignment, balance, breath management, (kick) flutter mechanics, before trying to master this drill.
It´s amazing how easy it looks, yet hard to master.
