In 1975, I met Peter Cushing at The Famous Monsters Con in New York. What a terrific guy, nicer than you could really imagine! I had loved his work since I saw THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN in its original release in 1957. Having seen practically all the early Hammer horror films in their original release, I suppose I had high expectations when I met him. The reality was that he easily exceeded them! It's a memory I treasure!

Very touching. So moving. Such a fine actor and gentleman. I grew up watching him vanquish the forces of darkness. He was a hero to me.Such courage in facing the death of a loved one.

I had met Peter when i was a small child a long time ago, such a perfect english gentleman in very way so kind and such a soft mannered person to which the world has lost, we all have such good memories of him in all of our hearts. There has never been another actor or person who can come to close Peters style. God bless such a wonderful person and let his memory live for ever.

OMG, you met Peter Cushing!?! I would have LOVED to have done that! He seemed like such a sweet, polite gentleman...And a great actor for his time (usually everyone back then hammed it up like nobody's business!) Such a shame I was born too late.
