I've been trying to figure this out for the past 20 years- WHAT IS THAT THING that eats your balls? It annoyed me to no end when I was playing this game.

You quit after seeing the score reset? There is a level 4 where those fliers take grab the ball & take it out of sight. Shake it up to make them spin out.
