this is a Video of SP 4449 on her way to Minneapolis on the BNSF Staples Sub as we start in Little Falls Minnesota and chase her to the Milwaukee Road 261 shop at Harrison St. in NE Minneapolis! You will see Pasing shots at 65 MPH as well as plenty of runbys so sit back and enjoy the show as SP 4449 highballs to Minneapolis. Its on its way to Owaso MI for Trainfest then Pulling the Milwaukee Road 261s Anual Fall Color Excursions in October.

  • I wish people that post videos, on YouTube, would take a lesson from you in proper video techniques. Talking when taking video and music and auto focus all drive me nuts.

  • Her whistle just sends chills up my spine every time I hear it! Love it.

  • You did an excellent job in capturing 4449's visit to Minnesota Conductor 261!

  • I wish she would come to maryland...

  • @mysteryman2580 The 4449 does all the pulling. The diesel is just on there as power for the passenger cars and also in case something were to go wrong with the steam engine in transit. 4449 no longer pulls trains in regular service, but she is fired up a few times each year to run special excursion trains.

  • two questions. is she running on her own or is the diesel pushing her, and is she still in commercial use or just tourism.
