Does anyone else notice that Desmond has the same red mark on his neck after he flashes from turning the failsafe key as Jack does in LA X? There has to be some huge significance to this. I really think his sailboat is going to come into play with people leaving the island. I think they'll end up destroying the Ajira plane. But will also uncover Desmond's sailboat which is still intact AND on the island and like I said, will be used as a vehicle to get off the island.

It would've been even cooler if it had flashes from his flashbacks and things we might not have seen yet.

The last shot is Desmond's eye in the hatch, as opposed to in Penny's flat. You can tell as the fake window thing can be seen in his iris.
